Just being in the Alps in summer is a very special experience. The air has that clear and fresh quality that you can find in the remoter parts of the UK, but the weather is totally different, with a lot more sunshine. It's the best place imaginable for walking and other outdoor activities, with views to rival any in the world.

Look more closely at the picture on the right above (click to enlarge): That's not cloud on the horizon - it's Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe. This is the view from a walk just above Les Gets, where our chalets are.
